The Capacity Building Commission (CBC) conducted an orientation for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) empanelled via the UNNATI portal and senior representatives from Administrative Training Institutes (ATIs), marking the beginning of an engagement where SMEs will guide ATIs in creating, curating, delivering and strengthening courses based on training recommendations emerging from the AI-CBP Tool.

The session, chaired by Smt. Radha Chauhan, Chairperson, CBC, opened with an address on the spirit behind the engagement and its linkages with the wider Mission Karmayogi ecosystem, setting the tone for a collaborative partnership between SMEs and ATIs.

Smt. Chandralekha Mukherjee, Principal Adviser, CBC, outlined the roles and responsibilities of SMEs and ATIs and introduced key CBC initiatives including the UNNATI platform, AI-CBP Tool and Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram (KKK).

Smt. Ankita Singh, Director, CBC, spoke about the KKK implementation model and the role of ATIs in supporting its state-level outreach and rollout.

Dr. Uma S., Principal Advisor, introduced the features of the Karmayogi Quality Framework (KQF) and highlighted that the SMEs can strengthen quality at the institute-level, using the framework as a touch-point to further elevate CBP-made courses.

Dr. Upmith Singh, Principal Advisor, spoke on the role of AI and emerging technologies in Training Institutions, emphasising that their authorised and responsible use can simplify processes and support more effective and transformative training delivery.

Shri Kunal Kapse, Project Lead, demonstrated the UNNATI platform and oriented the participants on how SMEs can engage with the platform to contribute to/leverage resources for their respective TI and the wider capacity building ecosystem.

The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session and closing remarks by Smt. Chandralekha Mukherjee, marking the beginning of this new collaboration between SMEs and ATIs to strengthen demand-driven, quality training for public servants.
