The 1st Batch of the two-day State Master Trainer (SMT) Programme under the Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram (KKK) was conducted at Assam Administrative Staff College (AASC), Guwahati, Assam, from 2nd to 3rd Sept 2026, with participation of 38 officials from various departments of the Government of Assam.

Rooted in Seva Bhav and inspired by the principle of Nagrik Devo Bhava, the Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram (KKK) is a flagship behavioural capacity-building initiative under Mission Karmayogi. The initiative seeks to bring about behavioural transformation across public service by fostering a deep sense of service, purpose, accountability, and citizen-centric governance.

The programme was facilitated by National Lead Trainers (NLTs) from Assam, deputed by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), and brought together Government officials from various departments of the Government of Assam. The training aims to create a cadre of State Master Trainers (SMTs) who will lead the cascade rollout of Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram across the State of Assam.

As Assam continues to build a strong pool of State Master Trainers, each batch contributes towards creating a responsive, accountable, and purpose-driven public workforce aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Together, we are nurturing Karmayogis who lead with Seva Bhav and transform governance through excellence in public service.
